The East River @ 107th Street Pier - Upper East Side urban anglers don't need to travel to Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx or Long Island to go fishing. We have good fishing right in our back yard, Bobby Wagner Walk Way along the FDR Drive. The pier at 107th Street, a local spot on the Upper East Side. It's located just north of Carl Schurz Park and Gracie Mansion.	August 2005
All fish are released to catch and fight another day. If you see someone keeping short fish you can report them to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation at 718.482.4885. Keeping under sized fish hurts the resource. You can view seasons, size, and possession limits at Recreational Saltwater Fishing Regulations.

If you live on the Upper East Side the best place to buy bait is the pet store on 116th St. & 1st Ave. They always have a supply of bunker (East River staple), salted & unsalted clams, blood worms and sand worms. They also have a small selection of rigs and sinkers.
